ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE SIGNS
Aluminium composite is a substrate which has a high density foam core with an aluminium face and back. It is very dimensionally a lot more stable with regards heat cycles & UV than foamboard or correx and as such it is the number one choice for signs which have intended long term exterior use:-
- Available from 3mm to 13mm thick
- Sheet sizes 8ft x 4ft to 3000mm x 1500mm
- Suitable for siteboards, fascias and hoardings (long term outdoor use)
- 1 – 2 day turnaround from receipt of artwork
- Same day turnaround usually available
DESIGN PROCESS
For best results, artwork should be supplied with the following considerations:-
- Images should be 150dpi @ full size
- Text converted to curves/paths
- Preferred file formats, .cdr, .ai/.eps, .pdf, .png, .jpg, .psd
If you don’t have the facility to create/supply your own artwork, don’t worry, we will design it for you and proof via email. You will always know EXACTLY how your finished sign(s) will look prior to production.
PRICING
Precise costs will depend upon size, quantity and turnaround, but as a rough guide we charge £58/sqm for our 3mm aluminium composite signs (which is the most common gauge). To illustrate what this means for the most common sizes we’re asked for, the following would be good indications:-
- 8ft x 4ft – £165 + VAT
- 6ft x 3ft – £105 + VAT
- 3ft x 2ft – £31.50 + VAT
Discounts are available for quantity – these are dependent upon how multiple signs fit within our sheet sizes, but we will always advise of the best use of material in order that you get the best price.
If you require artwork, there may be a nominal charge, but in a lot of cases we are able to include this if it isn’t too complex.
